I had a 720mm dragbar on 8" riser on my savage. Now I have a 820mm dragbar on 6" risers on my savage. In both way the pipeline for the brake and the steelwire (I don't know the technical english words for this things) for gas and clutch can leave as original. The 8" is bringing the dragbar nearer to you then the 6" one. In both ways it is not as near as the western-handlebar.
